Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. The tool runs in your browser, on your device. Your files are never uploaded to our servers, so nobody else can see them, and nothing is kept after you close the page.
Is it free?
Yes. This tool is free to use, with no account, no sign-up and no watermark added to your files. The free plan takes up to 3 files at a time, 15 MB each. Pro takes up to 10 files at a time, 50 MB each.
Why does my PNG become WebP?
PNG files cannot be made smaller by lowering their quality. WebP keeps transparency and is usually much smaller, and every modern browser opens it. Choose JPG if you need maximum compatibility.
Is location data removed?
Yes, from every image the tool saves again: camera details and the location where a photo was taken are left out. An image that is already as small as it can get is returned unchanged.
