Are my files uploaded?
No. The tool runs in your browser, on your device. Your files are never uploaded to our servers, so nobody else can see them, and nothing is kept after you close the page.
Is it free?
Yes. This tool is free to use, with no account, no sign-up and no watermark added to your files. The free plan takes up to 3 files at a time, 50 MB each. Pro takes up to 10 files at a time, 250 MB each.
How much smaller will my PDF get?
It depends on what is inside. PDFs with photos or scans often shrink by half or more. PDFs that are mostly text are usually small already and may not change: in that case you get your original file back.
Will the text still be sharp?
Yes. Only photos are made smaller. Text, lines and shapes are not touched, so they stay sharp at any zoom.
